You are taking a chance that the guest who stayed before you was not a good Guardian. They may not have cleaned perfectly. They may have forgotten a rule.
If you arrive to find a space that is not perfectly clean, you are not a victim; you are the next Guardian in the chain. In a hotel, you would complain. Here, we ask that you embrace the "Plus" factor and be the one to put it right. It's a nuisance, we agree, but it is the transparent and inherent risk of our community-based model. Your responsibility to leave the place ready for the next guest remains absolute, regardless of the condition in which you found it.
This philosophy is not for everyone. If this idea makes you angry, we respectfully and sincerely ask you to book a hotel.
